Portable audiometry

With a unit weight of just 710g (1.56lbs) and USB connectivity, the PC850 screening audiometer can be easily transferred between locations and is reliable for on-the-go hearing specialists. The instrument connects to audiology booths with standard connections and when combined with the Amplivox Audiocups (noise-reducing enclosures), the PC850 provides the ideal environment, to complete professional and accurate hearing tests.

Fully extensive testing

The PC850 screening audiometer features three extensive pure tone audiometer test types including manual, computer (Hughson–Westlake) and self recording (Bekesy) routines. With fully customisable test frequency and error handling processes, the hearing threshold in each ear can easily be identified. A paperless, full test progress can be managed from the PC including audiology questionnaires, test progress and recall considerations. Patient test results can be used for statistical and trending analysis and the PC850 is suitable for mass screening programmes.
