Amplivox calibrate medical instruments globally to maximise the life of the product, check measurement accuracy and compliance to international standards.
Amplivox provide a fast turnaround time with competitive pricing. Calibration work applies to both Amplivox manufactured instruments and many other audiological equipment and medical instruments brands.
Amplivox offers two types of instrument calibration:
A: Return to Base Calibration
Send the instrument to Amplivox. A calibration can be completed within a few days.
B: On-Site Calibration
Amplivox can visit companies and calibrate equipment on site. This is recommended for companies who have many instruments so they can be calibrated at once. Due to high demand, Amplivox advise to book on-site calibrations as early as possible in order to meet preferred times.
Three simple steps:
1) Complete the returns form
Download and complete the UK Returns Form or International Returns Form:

To enable a fast turnaround time for your calibration, pre-book by emailing Amplivox the completed UK or International Returns Form right away. Amplivox will then immediately book this in and await delivery.
How to pre-book:
Within the downloaded UK or International Returns Form, click the Pre-Book button or email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
IMPORTANT: Include a printout of the completed UK or International Returns Form and send with the medical instrument. Also include the headset.
2) Send the instrument to Amplivox
Include the downloaded UK Returns Form with your medical instrument and its headset. The Amplivox shipping label is already completed on the second page of the returns form. Amplivox will contact you when the medical instrument is received.
Email the completed International Returns Form to email@example.com. Amplivox will provide an RMA number (this may take approximately 6 working hours, Monday-Friday) to add to the International Returns Form. Send the form with the medical equipment to Amplivox.
3) Returning the instrument
Once the instrument has been calibrated by Amplivox, it will be returned depending on the type of account that you have with Amplivox.
If you have an account or have provided the required purchase order details (or other payment details), Amplivox will invoice and return the equipment straight away.
If additional work is required or Amplivox are waiting for confirmation to pay the invoice, you will be notified. All calibrations can be paid for by credit card, cheque or bank transfer.
Standards of calibration work
Amplivox are accredited to the latest ISO 13485:2016 standard and all audiometric calibration work is performed according to the following standards:
•Air conduction – ISO 389-1: 2017
•Insert earphones – ISO 389-2: 1997
•Bone Conduction – ISO 389-3:2016
•Narrow band noise – ISO 389-4: 1999
Calibration code request
Should you wish to use an alternative supplier, you can do so by obtaining a unique calibration code for your instrument. All calibration requests are processed within five working days.
PLEASE NOTE: By calibrating and changing the settings of an Amplivox instrument using an unauthorised supplier; Amplivox cannot guarantee that the services will be performed by appropriately trained staff or to the relevant (medical or legal) standards.
